DESCRIPTION:We are collaborating with Pro Co-op\, Cahill Seeds\, Daniels Co. Extension\, BASF\, and others involved with canola for a spring crop tour in the Scobey area the morning of July 13. One of our Montana directors is Mike Bekker\, who has grown canola on the family farm near Scobey for a number of years. We’ll start at one of Mike’s fields (https://goo.gl/maps/vSvN87x6QYzaatz39) to take a look at LL-TruFlex and Roundup Ready spring canola varieties. Other stops will include lentils\, a BASF spring canola demonstration strip trial\, and durum wheat and canola field.
