DESCRIPTION:We’re collaborating with University of Idaho Extension for a winter canola tour on the Prairie that will include a large-scale winter canola variety trial\, UI winter canola variety trial plots\, canola grower experiences\, a scouting demonstration and insect i.d.\, fertilizer strategies\, and an up close look at comparing planters and a drill used for seeding canola.  Morning refreshments will be provided by local industry members\, and lunch will be provided courtesy of the Idaho Oilseed Commission and Pacific Northwest Canola Association. \nRegister by May 17 by clicking here  Transportation will be provided\, we’ll load up at 8:30 at the Cottonwood Community Hall. \nThe event flyer with more details can be viewed here.

DESCRIPTION:The UI Weed Science Research Tour will be held on Tuesday\, June 10\, 2025. Registration is at 7:30 AM at the Parker Plant Science Farm\, the tour is from 8-noon\, followed by a hosted lunch at Parker Farm. Transportation for the tour is provided.
