We will reevaluate in the next few weeks whether we can move forward with any tours in late June and early July. As always\, if you have any questions during (and after!) the growing season you can always email us at pnwcanola@gmail.com. \nThe PNWCA will be conducting several Stop ‘n’ Talk tours the last week of May (possibly first week of June) with a focus on the connection between canola production and soil health. We will also be collaborating with WSU-WOCS to hold field tours that will feature the large-scale winter canola variety trials at Ralston and Almira. Tour dates will  be published by the end of March. Stay tuned to our News page and Calendar for updates!

DESCRIPTION:The Montana Department of Agriculture will be holding a listening session to receive additional grower input regarding the proposal to create an advisory committee for the potential future establishment of an oilseed commission. \nGrowers will have the opportunity to learn about the process for creating a commodity advisory committee and provide input regarding its composition\, crops to be included\, and rate of assessment. Based on feedback received during the legislative session\, MDA will decide whether to propose an oilseed research and market development program for adoption by administrative rule. \nThere is no charge to attend the session.
