Q: Who can become a member of the PNW Canola Association?

Producers, landowners, industry businesses, organizations, agencies, and individuals with an interest in canola are eligible for PNWCA membership. Membership is open to people and organizations that want to support the growth, education, advocacy, and marketing of the canola industry in the Pacific Northwest.

Q: Who qualifies for Agency membership?

Agency membership is for nonprofit organizations, government agencies, or employees of those agency members that have an interest in canola and the betterment of the canola industry. Agency membership is listed at $250 per year.

Q: What role do members play in PNWCA leadership?

Members help support the association’s leadership structure through board participation and, for eligible membership categories, voting. Producer members may vote in the Board of Directors election, Industry members may be eligible for board service, and Platinum Industry members receive a voting seat on the board.

Q: Why would a canola grower join the PNW Canola Association?

Grower membership supports the association’s work on canola education, research, policy, and industry development across the Pacific Northwest. Membership also includes U.S. Canola Association membership, which connects growers to broader canola industry representation beyond the regional level.

Producers, industry, and agencies with an interest in canola are all eligible. Your membership directly funds education, advocacy, and policy work across Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.

The mission of the PNWCA is to grow the PNW Canola industry through education, advocacy and policy. Membership supports everything we do.

We lobby at the state and federal level for trade, research funding, renewable fuels, economic loss payments, labor, and more.

Year-round education through field-scale trials, workshops, and field tours across the region.
Influence

We support science-based policymaking and continue to lead the way improving crop insurance in all four states.
