Where Does the Canola Oil in Your Kitchen Come From?

Much of the canola oil sold in the United States comes from canola grown across the Pacific Northwest — in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. PNW canola growers harvest the seed, which is crushed to separate the oil from the meal. The oil is then refined and bottled for grocery stores and food manufacturers.
