Hwy 2 canola tour in WA May 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Join us for a canola tour with several stops along the Highway 2 corridor west of Spokane.  The tour will begin north of Wilbur at a large scale winter canola variety trial, followed by a nearby spring canola field.  Next up will be at a farm with four field-scale strips of winter canola varieties.  The final stop will be a the WSU Wilke Farm (Davenport) where we will take a look at a University of Idaho winter canola variety trial and WSU spring and winter canola research.  Canola production topics including fungicides, fertilizer strategies, peola, scouting, and drills will be discussed.  Lunch will be provided at Wilke Farm after the tour thanks to Highline Grain, please rsvp for an accurate catering count.
