PNWCA TruFlex variety trial tour June 16, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am

Join us for an information packed tour of our PNWCA farmer trial at Kopf Farms near Pullman. We have 13 different TruFlex spring canola hybrids from 8 seed companies in the trial.  A flyer with complete details can be viewed here. Topics and presenters are:

• Cultivar-specific details by seed company reps
• Marketing, delivery points, storage – Columbia Grain, PNW Coop (invited), CHS Primeland (invited), Viterra
• Herbicide studies with Italian ryegrass – Mark Thorne, WSU
• Weed control and herbicide resistance – Joan Campbell, UI
• Canola pests and beneficial insects – Jim Davis, UI
• WSU-WOCS update – Isaac Madsen, WSU

The trial is located just east of Pullman off of SR270 (https://goo.gl/maps/BQF7Fr16r6j8rUFk7).

*** Please note 4-WD will be required to reach the trial if the field road is still wet – we can provide a shuttle up the hill or it’s a refreshing walk!
