Canola tour – Bozeman, MT July 7, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Mark  your calendars for an ‘open house’ style spring canola tour near Bozeman, Montana on July 7, 2020.  There are three different spring canola varieties planted at Middle Creek Farms and representatives from each of the seed companies (BASF, Nuseed, Photosyntech) as well as canola growers, processors, PNWCA directors, and industry reps will be stationed at each field to provide information about canola production and marketing strategies.  We are following all state and county regulations for COVID-19 requirements for this and other events. Presenters: Dale Flikkema, Don Nagy, Matt Smith (BASF), Brian Morse (Nuseed) Bob Amstrup (Photosyntech), Kent Kupfner (MSM), Daniel Stenbakken (Viterra). We are waiting on confirmations from a few other growers and industry.

Just added: We have added another stop from 3-4 p.m. at a field of HyClass 320 winter canola north of Three Forks.  Winfield United reps Curt Droogsma and Mick Miller, Perry Miller from MSU, and canola grower Franck Groeneweg will be on hand to talk about the specifics of the crop and other winter canola production information.
